Choosing Ergonomic Shoes for Women

Petra Star: Cream Leather & Glitter

Petra Star: Cream & Glitter - Ergonomic Shoes for Standing

Why is it important to wear Ergonomic Shoes for women?

If you have difficult feet, you may be looking for the best women’s ergonomic shoes to help with your foot problems. Ergonomic shoes for walking and other activities may conjure up ideas of unfashionable, orthopaedic-looking shoes. However there are stylish options for ergonomic shoes for women and we will show you some of the best ones available!

Trinity: Cream Leather

Trinity Cream Leather - Ergonomic Shoes for Standing

What happens if I don’t wear ergonomic shoes for standing?

If you spend a lot of time on your feet at your job, you should look for ergonomic shoes for work. The best ergonomic shoes for standing will help your feet to function properly during those long days. Ergonomic shoes have good shock absorption. This helps reduce the pressure on the foot and avoids shock on the entire body, helping alleviate long-term foot, back and knee pain.

The best ergonomic shoes for women also help relieve fatigue. An ergonomic sole provides extra protection by cushioning, contouring and supporting the foot. This increases blood circulation and reduces muscle strain. By reducing fatigue in your feet, you reduce overall body fatigue.

Sprint: Bronze Leather - Ergonomic Shoes for Standing

If you don’t wear the correct ergonomic shoes for standing or walking, you risk damaging the posture of your feet. Altering your feet’s biomechanics can lead to other foot problems such as bunions, flat feet and plantar fasciitis.

Our feet change as we get older and they are more prone to these foot conditions. Wearing the best ergonomic shoes can help prevent them. With age, our feet can become wider, longer and flatter. An ergonomic shoe, which includes anatomical arch support, will keep your feet in the correct position and shape so that it is fully functional and pain-free.

The best ergonomic shoes will prevent pronation (the rolling inwards of the foot). Pronation is one of the other key contributing factors to foot problems like bunions and flat feet.

All Sole Bliss shoes contain an ergonomic and cushioned insole, together with anti-pronating arch support. Read more about How Our Shoes Work.

Kitty: Black Suede: Ergonomic Shoes for Standing

What are the Best Ergonomic Shoes for Walking?

If you are looking for the best ergonomic shoes for walking, we would recommend trying Sole Bliss’ extensive collection of Flat Shoes. Our Miracle Trainers, in particular, are designed for women looking for comfortable ergonomic shoes for walking.

Every pair features our unique ergonomic footbed. It is anatomically contoured and extremely well-cushioned so that your feet are protected, comforted and in total bliss! Our podiatrist-approved ergonomic insole ensures your feet are comfy and cushioned all day for long walks or long periods of standing.

Tabitha: Black Croc Patent Leather

What are the Best Ergonomic Shoes for Work?

If you are looking for ergonomic, orthopaedic work shoes  we would recommend trying our ultra-comfortable flats such as Luna, Lizzie and Florence. All our flats feature three layers of underfoot memory foam cushioning:

The base layer provides shock absorption. The middle layer offers a custom contouring system. The top layer is there for pure comfort: it is soft and cushioned and will keep your feet happy. These are truly the most comfortable ergonomic shoes for women.

All Sole Bliss heels contain the same triple-layer underfoot cushioning system, which make them great heeled options for women looking for ergonomic shoes for work.

Tread: Black Leather - Ergonomic Boots for Women

Should I Wear Trainers or Boots for the Best Ergonomic Shoes?

The answer is wear both! All our Trainers and Boots have the ergonomic soles and footbeds, making them the best shoes for walking on concrete or if you are on your feet all day. The fit of Sole Bliss shoes provide comfort, support and style!
