Celebratory Year with Sole Bliss

12 Months of Success
It’s been one of the best years here at Sole Bliss. We grew as a company, extended our collection, got featured in the press multiple times and gained love from royalty and celebrities. But we would be nowhere without our loyal customers, so we would like to take the opportunity to thank YOU for contributing to this blissful year. In the spirit of twelve days of Christmas, let’s celebrate Sole Bliss’ twelve months of success together by reflecting on the biggest highlights of the year.
1.January
We had a lot going on this January. Our block heels for bunions got featured in the London Evening Standard. This is what they had to say about our shoes:
“They are chic, elegant and cool. The triple layer cushioning will mean you can stand all day and dance all night.”
Also, Women & Home featured our founder and designer, Lisa Kay to model in their ‘Perk Up Your Prints’ fashion story. The fashion team’s tips included being brave with print trousers, and specifically to look for leg-lengthening lines.
“A statement pair of heels will instantly elevate your look from day to evening.”
Lisa didn’t stop there, later in January appeared on BBC News to talk about how Sole Bliss shoes for bunions and wide feet was established.
Being busy with press features did not stop us from launching new shoes for bunions including ‘Carmen’ in metallic snake and ‘Alessia’ in navy suede!

2.February
February was all about extending our bunion shoe collection so, we launched three successful designs: ‘Georgia’, ‘India’ and ‘Imogen’.

3.March
In March we were busy launching our brand-new website so you could enjoy a new and improved customer experience across the whole site!
The Daily Mail featured Lisa, she discussed how she keeps a healthy balanced life next to her hectic work schedule.
Later in March, we were featured in Women & Home again, but they discussed Sole Bliss’ famous fans: Dame Helen Mirren and Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall.
“The brand’s designer, Lisa Kay, has recently expanded their collection to open up even more options for their audience…One thing you can identify in their summer launch is how they’re trying to accommodate a variety of ages.”
Sole Bliss also launched our first ever wedge for bunions - ‘Willow’ - and extended some of our favourite shoes for bunions with nude and hot pink tones.
Lastly in March, we received our first award of the year! We won the Best Business Innovation Award at the National Best Business Awards 2019 and was runner up for the Best Customer Service category.

4.April
We had the honour to be the sponsor of the first-ever National Bunion Day, which received press coverage by Daily Express for the special day.
“This is exactly why I believe National Bunion Day is crucial – so we can inform the public that millions of people have them, they are not something to be ashamed of, and there are solutions."

5.May
May arrived upon us in style, as we had the honour of two gorgeous celebrities wearing our high heels for bunions. Dame Helen Mirren and TV Presenter, Kaye Adams looked magnificent wearing our hero shoe of the year: ‘Pandora’.

6.June
June saw the Daily Expressfeature Lisa Kay in an article about the mission behind Sole Bliss.
"Sole Bliss wants to encourage more people to speak up about the taboo subject and provide a comfortable solution.”
Also, Judy Murray OBE attended Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot wearing our ‘Carmen’ mid-heel for bunions and she looked oh-so-lady-like.

7.July
Sole Bliss was thrilled with another feature by Women & Home, talking about the Duchess of Cornwall’s timeless elegance and her favourite pair of Sole Bliss comfort heels, ‘Ingrid’.

8.August
We had a special surprise for our customers; we launched our first ever ballet shoe for bunions - ‘Luna’.

9.September
Pandora in Leopard Print was showcased in Prima Magazine issue - well done for our super fans who spotted us!
Late September during the annual Paris Fashion Week, Dame Helen arrived wearing her navy ‘Pandora’ heels. It has to be our favourite outfit of the year from the silver screen actress.

10.October
Channel 4 TV Presenter, Anna Williamson became Sole Bliss’ shining star, as she hit the red carpet for the National Lottery Awards in her comfortable high heels, Pandora Luxe Leopard, looking gorgeous!

11.November
Sole Bliss was over the moon to collect the second award this month. Part of the team attended the British Business Awards 2019 ’s Gala and walked away as winner of the Most Innovative Business Idea .
Helen Mirren wore our comfort shoes multiple times in her newest movie, ‘The Good Liar’ and throughout the promotional tour and premiere; she is looking fabulous every single time.

12.December

We have had a busy month in December. We kicked off this month by becoming winners of the Best New Business category at the SME’s Business Awards.
In addition, our party heels for bunions were covered in Daily Express where our founder and designer Lisa Kay said:
“No other leading UK footwear brand is producing fashionable products in a way that accommodates imperfections and alleviates the discomfort those imperfections may cause”
Being busy this month did not stop us from introducing two new flats for bunions and extend our best-selling Ingrid collection with a navy suede design.
That isn’t all! Sole Bliss introduced our first-ever Chelsea boot for bunions: ‘Erin’.

This successful year has seen us work harder than ever and we have a couple things in the pipeline for 2020 – we can’t wait to share with you all! Stay tuned and in the meantime, don’t forget to grab your Sole Bliss comfort shoes on the way to you New Year’s Eve Party!
